A Cyclone Scrubber is generally used for removing the dust particles from the gas. Air with impurities is allowed to enter in the separator to form a cyclone, due to which the dust particles are removed with water due to the density difference. The set-up consists of a cyclone. Air is supplied to the cyclone via centrifugal blower and impurities are mixed in it. Water is supplied through nozzle and is mixed with impure air. This mixture of dust, air and water passes through cyclone and due to density difference the dust particles are separated from the air, with water in the cyclone. Pure air exits from the top of the cyclone and water with impurities is collected from the bottom.
