About Batch Crystalizer

Description :

Crystallization is the formation of solidparticles within a homogeneous phase of saturated liquid. Its wide use has atwo-fold basis, a crystal formed from an impure solution is itself pure andcrystallization affords a practical method of obtaining pure chemicalsubstances in a satisfactory condition for packing and storing. This operationinvolves both heat and mass transfer. Cooling type agitated batch crystallizer setup consists of an open jacketed stirred vessel provided with water heating& cooling arrangement. The feed is prepared in the crystallizer itself withhot water and stirrer. The hot saturated solution in the crystallizer is thencooled by circulation of cooling water and crystals are formed.

Heater : Nichrome wire heater

Cooling Water Tank : MaterialStainless Steel, Capacity 30 litre fitted with Pump.

Flow measurement : By Rotameter forcooling water.

Pump : FHP.

Receiving Tank : Material StainlessSteel, Capacity 2 litre with SS sieve

Temp. Sensors : RTD PT-100 type

Control panel comprises of :

Digital Temp. Indicator : 0-multi-channel switch

With Standard make on/off switch,Mains Indicator etc.

The equipment will be portable andmounted on a metal trolley.

An ENGLISH instruction manualconsisting of experimental procedures, block diagram etc. will be providedalong with the Apparatus.

The whole set-upis well designed and arranged on a rigid structure painted with industrial PUPaint.
